Wayne Dwornik is an artist from Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA.
Born and raised in southern Manitoba, he attended college, graduating in 1973 (Advertising Arts) majoring in photography. He worked for 30 years in television, 10 years as a photographer, videographer.
Retired from television in 2015, he continues to reside in Lethbridge, with his wife, Sandra; he continues to pursue his passions of life.
I have a background in art, graphic design and photography, as well as documentary production and oil painting and a bit of wood carving.
I have called upon my rather diverse interests and techniques to share the design traits found in my manner of “seeing” the world around me.
"every day is filled with new things just waiting to be discovered, and I am thrilled to share with you some of my discoveries"
In April of 2004, Global Lethbridge Television interviewed Wayne during his Solo Exhibition in The McCain Gallery at the Coaldale Public Gallery. The exhibit was what Wayne called, "a short retrospective collection of oil paintings I have done over the past 12 years... another side of my art that many have not yet seen. Many of my painting subjects arise from photos (Surprise!) ... many from warm winter vacations with my wife. There is no theme to this Gallery, nor for the exhibition in Coaldale in April."
